EnviroScrub Raises Over $1.25Million in Private Placement 1 August 2001 Minneapolis, MN EnviroScrub Technologies Corporation ("EnviroScrub"), a Minneapolis, MN company engaged in the licensing of its PahlmanTM Process technology for removing harmful gases (NOx and SOx) from power plant emissions, raised over $1.25Million through its second round of Private Placement financing. This second round priced at $5.00/share, through Equity Securities Investments of Minneapolis, was open for less than 30 days. EnviroScrub's initial Private Placement offering, completed in early-2001, was priced at $2.50/share. "We are pleased with how quickly we were able to raise over $1 million for EnviroScrub, especially considering the current economic conditions and the conservative investment sentiment prevailing in the U.S.," stated Kurt Steinbergs, EnviroScrub's V.P. -- Business Development. "EnviroScrub has tremendous technology and a great story to tell the investment community. We anticipate additional equity investment from strategic industry players in the months ahead," continued Steinbergs. EnviroScrub's proprietary PahlmanTM Process dry scrubbing technology has proven to be exceptionally effcient at removing NOx and/or SOx gases from natural gas- and coal-fired power plant emissions. It is anticipated that EnviroScrub will compete in the U.S.' multi-billion dollar emissions-reduction-technology ("ERT") market and the company expects to generate technology licensing revenues from its PahlmanTM Process beginning in 2002 and 2003.
