 EnviroScrub Receives Second Patent from US Patent Office 26 August, 2003 Minneapolis, Minnesota EnviroScrub Technologies Corporation (“EnviroScrub”) has received its second issued patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”). Patent Number 6,610,263 with the title of “System and Process for Removal of Pollutants from a Gas Stream” is dated 26 August, 2003. The Patent is owned by EnviroScrub. The Patent has 18 Claims, protecting different embodiments of EnviroScrub’s processes for the removal of targeted pollutants, such as oxides of sulfur (SOx) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and the use of EnviroScrub’s pollutant removal systems in carrying out the processes. EnviroScrub has trademarked its pollution control technology as the Pahlman™ Process. The Patent also protects the use of EnviroScrub’s proprietary sorbents in electronically-controlled pollutant removal systems and processes. The sorbents, which are based on oxides of manganese, have been trademarked as Pahlmanite™. The high removal efficiencies achievable with the Pahlman™ Process technology – at least 99% for SOx and at least 96% for NOx – are highlighted in these claims. “The issuing of this second patent generates momentum for EnviroScrub in its efforts to become the world leader in multi-pollutant control technology.
